A. Wolfe, Vice Chairman
David
A. Wolfe is the second
President of Acromag Inc. Founded in 1958, Acromag is located in
Wixom, Michigan and is an international designer and manufacturer of
Industrial Electronic Instruments. Its mission is to produce the
leading technological products for industry while pioneering
innovation and depending on the creative invention of our employees.
Mr. Wolfe
received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
from Oakland University. He began working at Acromag Inc. as an
electronic design engineer and later became an engineering group
leader. As an engineer, he was responsible for many new product
designs for VME computer systems. He also contributed to the
development of several computer standards including the VME64
extensions. Later Mr. Wolfe held several marketing and sales
positions including Marketing Manager, Sales Manager, Director, and
Vice President. During this time, Acromag enjoyed regular and steady
sales growth that continues today. Along with domestic and
international sales duties, Dave received his Masters in Business
Administration from the University of Phoenix.
Mr. Wolfe
serves Acromag Inc. as President and Chief Operating Officer, and
sits on the Board of Directors. His 20 years in the process and
embedded controls industries give him a unique perspective to lead Acromag into the future. He takes time to act as a Special Director
for the Central Scholarship Fund in Walled Lake Michigan, an
organization established to provide hundreds of college scholarships
to needy high school graduates. Dave also sits as an Outside
Director on the Visiting Committee for the College of Engineering
and Computer Science at the University of Michigan, Dearborn. He was
elected to the MCAA Board of Directors in May 2004 and to the
position of Vice Chairman in May 2007.
Living in
Southeastern Michigan, with his wife and three boys, Dave is very
active in the community. He spends much of his spare time helping at
schools, Boy Scouts, and family life. He also enjoys golf and
camping.
