Jeffrey Peters, Director-at-Large
Jeffrey
Peters starting working for Precision Digital Corporation in 1973
when he was 13 years old soldering PCBs and stuffing envelopes. He
joined the company full-time when he was 19 after completing a year
and half of study at Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh.
Jeffrey eventually earned a BS in business administration from
Boston University’s Metropolitan College at night while working for
the company during the day. He has been president of Precision
Digital since his father retired in 1995.
In his spare time, Jeffrey likes to hike in the
White Mountains in New Hampshire, especially in the winter when the
mosquitos are not quite so bad and the tourists have thinned out. He
also enjoys golf, tennis and bike riding. He lives in Wellesley,
Massachusetts with his wife Sally, and three children. He recently
hooked up his old turntable and started playing all his old records
by people like Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, The Band, Traffic, and Dire
Straights. Among the more notable accomplishments of his youth, he
bought a 1956 MGA roadster with a bent frame and unreliable
electrical system when he was 18 and managed to not get himself
killed. Why his father let him do it we’ll never know!
Jeff was elected to the MCAA Board in May 2008.
