Thomas G. Nelson, Director at Large

Tom Nelson
has over 20 years experience as an industrialist serving in a
variety of positions including sales, marketing, general management
and business development. For the last twenty years he has been
employed by Racine Federated Inc. of Racine, Wisconsin a privately
held company where he is a Vice President and Director of the
Corporation. His current responsibilities include business
development, acquisitions, mergers,divestures and marketing.
Racine
Federated is a multi-division manufacturer of internal concrete
vibrators used in the construction industry and flow meters used in
several industries Racine Federated are sold under the brand names
Wyco, Blancett, Dynasonics, Flow-tech, Hedland, Racine and Preso.
Since
joining Racine Federated in 1985 as Sales Manager for the Hedland
Division Tom has held a variety of positions in the company
including his appointed in 1989 as a vice president and Director of
the corporation. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics
from Western Illinois University.
Tom is a
member of the Instrumentation, Systems and Automation Society; the
Association for Corporate Growth; Executive Agenda; and the American
Marketing Association. He serves his community as Treasurer and
Director of the not-for-profit agency The Milwaukee Center for
Independence and as a director of the Advisory Board, The University
of Wisconsin - Parkside School of Business & Technology. He was
elected to the MCAA Board of Directors in May 2006.
When not
engaged in business activities, Tom and his wife, Jackie, enjoy
motorsports, golfing and renovation of the family farm including
tending to two house and two farm cats.
