Charlotte Hill,

Charlotte
Hill is President & CEO of Georg Fischer Signet LLC (GFS), where she
has worldwide responsibility for product design, development and
delivery of industrial water and wastewater measurement sensors and
instrumentation.
GFS is part
of the $3.5 billion George Fischer Corporation, based in
Switzerland, with 200-year-old roots in the metal forging industry,
and today a global leader in the machining technology, automotive
and piping industries. Charlotte joined Signet, in 1996, as Vice
President of Operations. In 1999, she was promoted to Vice
President of Marketing and, in 2001, she was named to her current
position of President.
Prior to GFS,
from 1989 until 1996, Charlotte worked for Esco Electronics, a
holding company for Rantec Microwave and Electronics, Inc. and
Electronics & Space Corp. She was Vice President of
Operations/Quality Assurance for Rantec, from 1995 to 1996, and
Senior Manufacturing Engineering/Production Manager for Electronics
& Space Corp., from 1989 until 1995. Earlier, from 1980 to 1989,
Charlotte worked for IBM, ultimately as Manufacturing Engineering
Manager, responsible for the development, building and maintenance
of high-volume processing equipment for hard disk drive magnetic
media, from 1986 to 1989. Before IBM, Charlotte was an Analytical
Chemist for the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory, from 1977
until 1979.
Charlotte
earned a BS degree in Bacteriology, in 1976, and another BS degree
in Chemistry, in 1977, both from the University of Idaho. She
earned her MBA from Washington University, in St. Louis, Missouri,
in 1994.
In addition
to golf, Charlotte enjoys jogging, foreign travel, her garden and
her dog. She was elected to the MCAA Board of Directors in May 2005,
Vice Chairman in May 2008 and Chairman in May 2009.
